God has given Eric a tremendous burden for reaching lost souls, and we have seen literally thousands of decisions for Christ over the past several years. I cannot think of a group that is under more direct attack from the enemy than families. So many are living their lives on their own, and they have no hope or direction. They are only surviving from day to day when, with Christ, they could truly live life to the fullest! The Outdoor Extravaganza has made a huge impact on families and communities across America. Here is a breakdown of what is involved.

In 2005, Eric was asked to be a part of a national outdoor TV program, Brock Ray’s World of Outdoors, as a Pro Staff Member. Some people think that is a “dream job;” however, it is more than it seems. Eric does have the opportunity to go and hunt at some tremendous places around the country, but God is using it for far more than some “get away” time. This opportunity has allowed him to reach out to thousands of men across the country with the Gospel. God wants to use all we have and are to bring Him glory. What better way to reach out to men and families through one of their very own hobbies! For many people, hunting and fishing is a god. Our goal is to point these people to Christ and for them to get their priorities in order. God has blessed The Outdoor Extravaganza from the very beginning.

As the husband to Rebekah and daddy to (5) wonderful children, Eric has a tremendous burden for families. The Outdoor Extravaganza by: M.U.D. has been called, “The VBS for families!” If you have never hosted a family outreach event, this is a great opportunity. We have had hundreds of cards, emails, and letters from both host churches and participants. Here is what a few have stated:

“The Outdoor Extravaganza is why I came to visit. I had been out of church for some time, and my wife had been praying for me to get involved. When she told me about the Outdoor Extravaganza, I knew that this was something I would enjoy, so I went. Little did I know that God was seeking me!
