While Eric Hixon began in ministry over 14 years ago, God has been shaping him for the task of full-time itinerant ministry all his life. Eric takes his calling very seriously, and he is committed to giving God glory in all that he does. Many people think that Eric has made many radical changes in his life; however, it is God who has been shaping Eric for His glory. Eric has served in the local church as a pastor, associate pastor, and student pastor. All of these were used by God to prepare Eric for what God is using him to do in and through M.U.D. Ministries. Whether Eric is in a local church in North America or in a barrio in Juigalpa, Nicaragua, he can relate to those he serves.

Not only does Eric have Christ as his passion, but he also has a burning desire to preach the Gospel. This is an area where Eric feels there is no room for compromise. If you have ever heard Eric preach, you probably have heard him say, “Jesus never saved anyone He didn’t change!” He shares this because it is what the Scriptures declare, and it is the truth.

Eric has preached to thousands of people, and he has a unique gift to “equip” Christians in the area of evangelism. He is inflamed to reach lost souls with the Gospel of Christ. Even though Eric is part of a national outdoor program and has been a guest on different Christian TV shows and other national radio programs, Eric does not seek to claim any of that glory for himself; he gives God 100% of the glory. Eric’s message is not about what he has accomplished, but about a clear, biblical presentation of the Gospel. The power is in the seed...not the sower.

Eric is committed to boldly fulfilling the Great Commission, and he prays daily for divine appointments.
